I feel like that one would go down a rabbit hole of complexity, because then I’d have to set certain zones to “cold” and “hot” like BotW, and we don’t have the memory for that.

Base concept: Cycle of rebirth, similar in design to Buddhism, with the Island of Mind being a sort of layover between incarnations to judge and prejudge progress toward enlightenment, the Unstable Order being a group who have lost patience with the Cycle and believe more good will come through its destruction and warping its celestial powers to their own will. Their prideful ways manipulated by an ancient eldritch entity defeated in eons past and deprived of physical form, they perform a ritual that distorts and mutates their flesh in its image, into the Halio’Ahmid, or “Purifying Light”.
