For the settings, is there anything similar to a carnival or circus? Cuz if so I’ve got a whole lot of lore.

alright, YAPPIN TIME!
The year is 2104, you woke up in the Abolished Abodes, in the middle of nowhere in the Shimmering Seas.
You have found an amulet!
The Amulet lets you choose a class.
After choosing, you venture into the west.
You find two neighboring towns, one named Vengeful Village and one called Talkative Town. The Vengeful Villagers tell you about their history.

Long ago, the world was in peace. until… the Uncanny Underworld infected the world. The Smiling Swamp turned into The Searing Swamp. Creator Cavern and Free Fortress both have been corrupted. The mall was corrupted. Mainly everything was corrupted.

“Basically, the b0mb explodes and releases a second expl0sion!”
“Alright, bye! (used when you bought something)”
“GIVE ME YOUR MONEY (used when didn’t buy)”

Lore I guess
You wake up in abolished abodes, with no recall of what happened before you fell asleep. All you do know is that you don’t belong here. In one of the abandoned buildings, a mysterious glow emits from a window. A small silver figurine of a jester sits on a pedestal. When you touch it, you can select your class. After that, you notice small patches of black goo everywhere. You don’t really care at first, as abolished abodes is abandoned and it’s probably just mold. But dear reader, dismissing something as mold always ends up badly. (Idk where you go at this point, just do stuff like a normal plot would, but you gotta end at the carnival place) You realize that there is someone— or more accurately something causing all this black goo (the goo is mind controlling when you touch it).

Enemies:

  1. Gabriel’s Grotto- A psycho gardener (Name: Crazy Daisy) who tries to defeat you with gardening shears.
  2. Raphael’s Refuge- idk
  3. Michael’s Monastery- Funky Monk challenges you to a karaoke battle with hoppin’ hymns and great gospel songs.
  4. Uriel’s Uplands- Bagpipe Barry uses his bagpipe to try to rupture your eardrums.
  5. Azrael’s Abyss- A screaming thing known as the void tries to erase you from existence.
  6. Haniel’s Haven- An old woman called Dolores tries to beat you up with her cane.
  7. Jophiel’s Jungle- Safari Steven uses his plethora of animals to attack you while riding a tiger.
  8. Camael’s Crypt- Hordes of zombies hide in the shadows and attack you.
  9. The Desolate Dungeon- Angry prisoners try to jump you and steal your inventory.
  10. Lucif3r’s Labyrinth / Lucif3r’s Lair- Dark Angel Damascus uses his unholy powers to corrupt stuff to do his bidding.
