Lore needed for my characters

Ok last one before next week, wrote some backstory up for The Hunter:
The Hunter was born in the slums of Rome, abandoned by whoever his parents were, and left to the care of a local monastery, which was told only that the child’s name was Mikhail Konstantonovich. Though the first several years of his childhood were decent as he was clothed, fed, and sheltered, he was soon tossed into the streets after a fire burned down the building that had housed him for the past 12 years. Alone once more, Mikhail became a street urchin, pickpocketing and scavenging for every scrap of food and money he could get his hands on. He eventually began to travel north, taking up odd jobs in search of a place to settle, feeding himself off of whatever animals he could trap along the way, and hoarding every penny of money from the menial labor he performed for the farmers and vineyards along his trek. Eventually raising enough to buy a small shack on the edge of the woods in the foothills of the Alps, a run down but liveable source of shelter, he began to fix up and expand his territory, crafting arrows and bows of various types to aid in his pursuit of the game that ensured his survival. Eventually he acquired great skill in this trade, catching enough to sell as surplus to the nearby village.
This was how he lived for several years, into his early thirties, at which point he began to be viewed with enmity due to his strange past and reclusive nature. These suspicions from his neighbors would eventually culminate in him being taken in a roundup by local officials in cooperation with an allied government. Shoved into the cramped confines of a cattle car, he stood dormant for days, subsisting off of meager scraps of bread, until the train stopped. Escorted into the right of a series of three lines, he discovered he had been taken to serve as a guinea pig for the testing of experimental drugs, the intent of which was to create immortality. The man known as Mikhail ceased to exist upon entering those chambers, carved away by the endless series of injections that so many others perished from before him. He became tormented by the passing of every fellow subject, feeling judged by their spirits within his dreams. This combined with his insatiable hunger and the memories of the food he has once enjoyed, the soft flesh of his old prey, dredging away every sliver of humanity left in Mikhail, until all that was left was The Hunter. Of course fate decided that a twisted individual such as this should be the first to survive the tests of Herr Mendel. Throughout the euphoria that his “success” imbued within the medical staff, The Hunter was able to slip free, flowing syringes like darts that penetrated the necks of those closest to them, either knocking them unconscious or worse. In the chaos, he fled into the night through a side door that was normally used to take away the cadavers of his predecessors, a fitting end to that chapter of his life.
Returning once more to his home, The Hunter chose to begin his first hunt of a new type of prey: his own kind. Gleefully wreaking vengeance upon those who had wronged him through the instruments once used for the carving of carcasses of big game, he rampaged through the night, until the village that had condemned him lay burning at his back. With all connections to his past life severed, he trekked into the woods, where he eventually reached a small town, the outskirts of which he would dwell in for decades. It was during this time that he learned of local legends about a creature called the Druid, who was fabled to control life itself. The ghosts of his comrades screeching in his mind, he became fanatically obsessed with the creature, reading and listening to every iteration of the myths until eventually, he found a way to take the Druid’s power for himself. It would by no means be easy, but then, The Hunter had plenty of time to stalk his prey. And thus the next day, he applied for a job at the Alpine Nature Reserve under the name of Mikhail, mimicking his past self in the pursuit of his larger goal, for which he soon found a willing accomplice, one Nino Sage.

Lunge Range: Mid
Lunge Speed: Fast
Lunge Cooldown: 1.5 sec (short)
Ability 1: Sabatoge (The Mirror interacts with a generator to drastically reduce it’s progress)
Ability 2: Sneak (The Mirror moves slightly slower but Trepidation range doesn’t take effect (Survivors unable to detect when the Mirror is near))

Connections:
Caspian (Mirror)
The Hunter (Pure enemies???)
Nino Sage (Old colleagues???)
Yamui (Heard of him???)
The Druid (Heard of them???)

I’ll be back online on Monday

Hey, sorry, just giving a progress update, am still working on Fleio, and will be combining Asher and Lana into one essay and Renn and Riyn into another to make things quicker. As for Mirror, intend to make him like an amplification of all of a person’s negative traits, released through an artifact Caspian found.

Ok, here’s Fleio, a bit shorter than usual since she is more of a side character to the main story:
After the war ended and Fleio and Yamui were free to settle, they left for the isolation of the Alps, hoping to raise a family, but sadly discovered that Fleio was infertile. This greatly saddened her, as it had long been her dream to raise and care for her own children. With the joys of a family at home now denied to her, she began to seek solace in the tranquil scenery of the local nature reserve by working as a ranger at the lodge. When she first arrived, there were few individuals on staff, namely Caspian and The Hunter, who had a very volatile relationship due to moral disagreements over the upkeep of the wildlife, and of course there was the variable selection of hunters and nature enthusiasts who visited the reserve from spring to fall every year before it closed for the winter months due to safety concerns and a lack of funding, already apparent even in these times.
Several years later, a new member joined the staff, one who Fleio instantly recognized as Nino Sage, Lana’s daughter. While aware of the Nino’s recent flight from their parent’s home, Fleio chose to remain silent about his presence at the reserve, both due to her dismay at how Lana had raised the girl in such a violent lifestyle, and due to Fleio’s own selfish desire to be a motherly figure to another child since she could not have children of her own. When Yamui eventually saw Nino while in town, Fleio initially provided little help to the search, until she began to realize how absent Nino and The Hunter had been for the lodge. She had intended to reveal to Yamui she knew of Nino’s location on the walk where they were ambushed by The Hunter. Unconscious and delirious for most of the ritual, she only remembers glimpses of the events, seeing Nino enter with the Hunter, the strange device connected to the altar she and Yamui lay upon, and an unshakable dread of the figure that emerged from the bloody mist as they fled the cave. Now on the run with her old friends, Fleio is left wondering what happened to Nino in the aftermath, as she disappeared from the area along with The Hunter once the Druid was released.

And here are Renn and Riyn:

Renn and Riyn are abandoned twins who have only ever known the harsh landscape of the alpine valleys for their home. With little recollection of their initial childhoods, they are now both 16, at least by their estimation of memory, they could be off by a couple years. Having acclimated to the environment with surprising ease, they have spent their lives exploring the valley, setting up several supply caches in various places in case of emergency and becoming incredibly agile and swift due to the exercise and knowledge of the terrain they have acquired over the years, these traits are from the most mysterious about them, for they also possessed the ability to see a person’s past and loosely track them for the future through physical contact, a useful trait for their hunting of small game like rabbits.
While the early years of their inhabitance in the valley went relatively undisturbed, the past several years have been marked by an increasing presence of other humans entering the area, before sharply falling save for a determined few, one of whom is incredibly disturbing to the twins due to how many animals he has dragged off to his cave high in the mountains, and the fanatical remorselessness with which he commits these acts. Suspicious and fearful of this intruder, they did their best to avoid him, but their luck eventually ran out. While foraging for berries and scraps of fish left by the local bears along the shores of the river running through the valley bottom, Renn was spotted by The Hunter and was forced to flee into the woods followed furiously by The Hunter, assuming they were from the village and would report him. As Renn fled, he called for his sister Riyn using birdcalls, screaming for her to help him since The Hunter had begun to close in on Renn due to the steep terrain near the river. Having been creating a new tree shelter nearby, Riyn quickly ran towards the sound of her brother’s cries, and ended up slamming into The Hunter from the side, knocking him to the ground. Both were then immobilized by the visions of The Hunter’s past, and Riyn began to scream in agony as she relived a relentless barrage of medical scenes that can only be described as agony, feeling the immense hunger of The Hunter’s youth that only grew throughout his life, the pain and mental trauma he experienced from Herr Mendel’s experiments, and the unsatiable bloodlust in his heart in the present day. As this happened, Renn returned to drag his sister away, careful not to touch her for dread of joining whatever twisted nightmare she was experiencing. Eventually they reached one of their emergency shelters, where Renn cared for Riyn whilst they hid from The Hunter’s wrath, helping his sister to recover and scrounging supplies only in the dead of night.
Over the course of the next several weeks as autumn turned to winter, Riyn made a full recovery and described to her brother what she had seen of The Hunter’s plans. As they discussed how to prevent the ritual from occurring, they felt a sudden shockwave, followed by an unnatural screech that filled their ears before abruptly being cut off. The sense of fright and anger towards The Hunter became amplified tenfold, though they also were scared of whatever had created the noise that awoke this emotion within them. Watching several figures flee and fight near the mountain ridge high above, they lay in wait for a moment to strike, biding their time in hiding as they searched for a weakness to The Hunter’s power.

The Druid:

The Druids are ancient entities, the embodiment of life itself. Each possesses a maternal protectiveness of its domain, lying in a dormant slumber far beneath the surface in absence of a threat to its charges. While ambivalent towards humans at first, some have become incredibly cynical and retaliatory in response to humanity’s wanton destruction of the natural world, lashing back through earthquakes, with their oceanic contemporaries the nereids unleashing tsunamis. Still, they contain a level of love for humans as they are still life, but no longer trust any raised in the modern world. Thus they will occasionally create their own, as is the case with Renn and Riyn of the Alpine Druid, Silverbirch. While still hopeful for humanity, it is also aware there are some who have learned of and covet its power to create their own sacrilegious forms of life, aberrations. It is this defensive rage that is unleashed through the manifestation of its guardian form, a Fang Golem, born of blood and stone to chase the heretics that dare claim the power of the gods. It is this vengeful spirit that pursues Nino, the spiller of the sacrificial offering, and the army survivors, who possess a weak form of life magic imbued through unnatural experimentation. As for The Hunter, Silverbirch despises him most of all, but cannot strike back himself due to the risk of destroying the power stolen from him, thus eradicating a large swath of the life in the alpine valleys.

Noticeably shorter, but I am a bit burnt out for the day, the 4 remaining essays should be done by weeks end, then it will be time to go into hibernation due to exhaustion from the scale of this project. Have spent so much time writing for this world I am considering making a small book out of it lol. Anyhow, goodbye for today!

have you done one for Asher yet?

Personally since this is your stories you made up you could implement them into your own full on novel since you put so much effort into this although the lore will probably be split a little for the sake of GIMKIT

No, will be doing a combo essay with him and Lana elaborating on Nino’s childhood, and providing explanation on what he Army group intends to do after the events of the first Nino essay.

Keep up the good work, people!

Ok, one week of hibernation later, here you go @Char :

Matthias was born mute to an upper class Parisian family in the early 1920s, who loved him despite his disability, and thus used their wealth to acquire private tutors. Thanks to their generosity, he quickly versed himself in all the major academics, but his true talent lay in hunting, as he learned to lay so effortlessly still for hours that animals forgot his presence, the last mistake they would make in their lives. And yet no amount of wealth could shield one from the draft, and so Matthias made his way to the army in early 1940.

(Events of Yamui occur)

Traumatized by his suffering in Dachau, Matthias retreated into anonymity amidst the bustling city of Innsbruck, Austria. There he plied his skill in silence not for hunting, for he had become a pacifist in light of the horrors he and his comrades suffered in the war, but instead for painting, capturing beautiful landscapes from within the heart of nature that any casual artist would be unable to achieve due to their disruptive presence within the habitat. These paintings allowed Matthias to make a meager income, and got him accepted into art school (thus averting a third war). He spent many years calmly drifting through his new life, suppressing the pain of his past through the chaotic balance found in nature and even our own lives, should we take the time and courage to look for it. In time, Matthias achieved a sense of inner peace, a satisfaction with his life, dedicated to the service of his community in the hope of preventing the conflict that marred his first years of adulthood. Eventually, he received a letter from Yamui, asking him to come to a remote village a few days away to assist in searching for Asher’s daughter, Nino. Being unaware of what Asher and Lana had done to the girl in her childhood, he happily agreed to help, assuming the child was merely lost, an assumption his comrades were all too happy to let him believe.

(Events of all prior essays occur)

Frantically scrambling into the van, Matthias had barely a moment to glance at the creature that had nearly taken Yamui and Fleio from him, catching only a glimpse of roots and stones soaked in blood as the figure lurched towards them at an unnatural speed. As the rest of his group shouted and cried in dismay as their vehicle took off through the twisting mountainside roads, he took a moment to register the events of the night that had led to this point. When the group had first discovered the absence of Yamui and Fleio, he had immediately hiked to the summit of the nearest hill overlooking the valley of the preserve. While he knew he was likely too late to spot the couple in transit, he hoped to at least see their captor leave from where he had left his prey, making him open to a shot from Matthias’s subsonic rifle, producing no sound other than that of the bullet hitting the target, by which point of course it would be too late. He heard the others pile into their rented van in the vain pursuit of finding their quarry in the local village, but Matthias believed their success to be unlikely, for the only aberrations in surveillance had occurred when Asher and Lana encountered that pair of figures earlier the previous month. Laying still amidst the trees for hours, grappling with his conscience about whether he could violate the pacifism that had defined his life in order to save his friends, he initially missed the figures running near the riverbed at the bottom of the valley. Startled from his emotional turmoil by a distant scream, he hastened to adjust the rifle to see what was occurring beneath him. Through the scope he saw a man matching Lana’s description of who she had pursued, though he seemed to be the one hunting, his quarry the small boy clambering through the uphill trails, crying out a word Matthias couldn’t quite hear. Figuring this man must be the same who had taken his comrades, and horrified by what he might do to the boy, all moral inhibitions were cast aside as his training from decades past kicked into action. He aimed, breathed in, held for 1, 2, and pressed the trigger. He watched as the bullet spiraled towards its mark, a perfect shot, set to enter at the neck and go down into the heart before exiting between the 3rd and 4th ribs before disappearing into brush, untraceable. And it would have struck just as described if a girl equally as ragged in appearance as the boy hadn’t knocked The Hunter aside, sending their bodies beneath foliage that obstructed Matthias’s vision. Thankfully the shot went unnoticed amidst the ensuing screams of agony, but by the time he had shifted position to see beneath the foliage, all three strangers had vanished as abruptly as they had come, though he thought he saw something slink off into the shadows away from the imprint where a body had lain. Urgently, Matthias fled down the mountain back towards Yamui’s home, hoping that the team had returned so that they might search the reserve for the children. But to his frustration, they didn’t arrive for several hours, at which point darkness had begun to set in, exponentially increasing the difficulty of the search. As he angrily argued with Asher over who to pursue through an exchange of ASL to rapid for anyone else to have followed, they were abruptly cut off by the front door collapsing inward under the weight of Yamui and his injured wife, bruised and battered from their run through the woods, collapsing with exhaustion before they could be questioned, their restless slumber only interrupted by screams of fright. Having recapped the days events in his mind, combined with what Yamui had choppily recalled, he could only assume what pursued them was a Defiled Druid, one that had been distorted from its mission of environmental preservation through exposure to violence, pursuing them due to it believing them to be unnatural aberrations in the tapestry of life due to the experiments that slowed their aging. And in that moment of realization, Matthias felt true fright for the first time since his time in Dachau.

Hello, could I help you? i’m pretty good at lore making. if you say no honestly IDC, cuz I did just get access to the forum and aren’t really familier with some of the rules. (i’ll go read some of the story’s to caught up on this)

Of course!

I still need lore for these characters:

  • Caspian (Survivor)
  • The Mirror (K1ller)
  • Lana (Survivor)
  • Asher (Survivor)

Edit: I forgor that Fleio’s is up here somewhere…

I guess i’ll think of a story for Caspian, (I have a really really good idea for him)
ONE QUESTION: is this supposed to be a fantasy world 'r what?

This could be who he is:
Prince Caspian, Former prince and ruler of a magical land called Narnia.
(don’t change his name)

This is the lore:
One night… the wife of a powerful king, was giving birth to a long awaited child.(not prince Caspian) there were fireworks going off everywhere! But something much less happy, and celebrative was going on at the time. the King wanted his own son dead, to make room for the new heir to the throne. he gathered some of his finest men, and equipped them with crossbows and chainmail, so that way they could get rid of Caspian. while Caspian was sleeping they marched up to his room in a very quiet manner. they aimed the crossbows at him and shot him. but luckily he was not on the bed, for he usually falls off the bed when he sleeps. he was woken up by the shots of the crossbows, and as soon as he had seen the men reloading their crossbows, he had jumped off of the floor and he jumped again. but this jump was no ordinary jump, IT WAS A LEAP OF CHANCE OUT OF HIS WINDOW. it was a big jump but he did not get knocked out (D.I.E), he had simply landed on a haybail. and from that moment foward, he was on the run from his father. he had lost his his title as prince, and he became a measly thief, he was a FLAMBOYANT THIEF! some years later… the King of Narnia went missing, then, someone everyone thought to be dead, came from the ashes of a hundred years ago. THE HUNTER! (i’m foreshadowing that the hunter is the King of Narnia). That is why THE HUNTER IS A ENEMY WITH CASPIAN.

Wadya think? before you say it, I know, I FORGOT CAPITAL LETTERS

Well thats Caspian out of the way

Who should I do next?

You can incorporate fantasy with reality if you want to

Alright, i’m done. and BOI IS THE LORE A BUET.
I know that the lore doesn’t really fit with the other hunter lore, BUT, I can wright another hunter lore
is that okay or 'r you tired of reading (if you are, I get it)

Who they are:
In game they’re known as the hunter. but they are formally known as the king of Narnia

The LORE:
The former King, and RULER of the lands known as Narnia wasn’t a very good man. he led raids open many poor villiges, because he thought if their poor, than what bad would it do if he stole from them. and he had very strict rules for anyone who entered his domain. and if any one single person broke the law, anyone they were related to were all exiled, including the criminal. in the year 1562 his wife had given birth to his firstborn son, Caspian. when Caspian was in his late teens, his father had grown to not care for his son because his son, in his eyes, was a weakling. Caspian was determined to makes things better when he was king. so when the kings wife was giving birth again, he saw the perfect opportunity to get rid of his other son, in hopes that this time he wouldn’t have such a weakling of a son. in the year 1578 the King and disappeared, only for the Hunter to rise again.

this one is a little shorter,
wadya think tho
