Lore in a Jail Break Game

So I am working on a Jail Break game and i want some lore in it as well.

you are in a jail (The Gimton Prison) and you are trying to escape. ive already made a secret bunker but want more ideas

Here, since I’ve got nothing else to do:

The prison you’ve been put in was built back in the 1940’s [1]. The layout is old and the walls seem to be growing moss and vines. The bars don’t seem as sturdy as they used too, and could possibly be broken with the right tool.

As for secrets? You could include a nuclear bunker, one that’s so run down it’s almost dangerous to be in with the level of radioactivity. You could also include other passageways left by previous prisoners through the dirt and whatnot. Leave small messages and or easter eggs left by you or by “Past Prisoners” on how to escape or how to use the controls in the game.

You could also include a sewage area, accessed by taking out the toilet in your own cell. There won’t be much in the sewage area, other than a few rats. But it’ll be one of the main few ways to get out of the prison.

As for some notes, You could do it like this:

“To whoever’s reading this, we escaped! Good luck finding us in time SUCKERS!” - Random Prisoner / Prisoner #22

“Check behind the Poster for a fun surprise!” - In-Game Hint

“The guards like to circle around every few minutes or so, remember that!” - Another Random Prisoner / Prisoner #47

you are bored and start peeling posters off the prison wall. But once peeled off, it leads to a tunnel that isn’t the escape but a mysterious room that shows info about the history of the jail.
Suddenly, after reading it, you feel really scared because rumor says this prison was built over an abandoned warehouse
The lights flicker… What’s going on?
But I like C-C’s idea more idk

I got one! It’s similar to someone’s french fries one…hope you don’t mind

The two cells next to yours are pink, and when I mean pink, I do mean P I N K .(not hating on colors)
You C O N V I E N T L Y found a Stoneburster from a cop who is eating fries. You grab the Stoneburster, yet grabbed a french fry and threw it at the cop, and now your bounty skyrocket over 999,999,999 conviently. (Good luck!)

A Bounty is basically a reward- Usually Cash- Offered by a government or hire to take out someone.

Bounties are usually only placed on High Prominent Criminals that the government wants gone. Hence Bounty Hunters, which are basically State and or Country legal assassins / hunters. They’re also usually Private agents. [1]

They’re practically only in the U.S. because Other countries such as The United Kingdom make it illegal to bounty hunt.
