Lore for my new game

I am creating a game where players enter multiple “Rifts” and try to eliminate the monsters that are trying to invade their ship.

can you explain a bit more, for extreme loreness, I have to know for sure what the game is about, thank you! Greenwhale123

Do you have any screenshots of your map? It may help me.

Oh, sorry about that. Some more info is: players are in space when this weird rift-portal opens up and weird monsters pop out. The players stop these monsters before they can sabotage the ship. They all agree that they need to stop the source of this threat before the ship goes down.

HE SAID THE WORD

LOOORRRRRREEEEEE!!!
Deep within the woods of the Duality Valley lies a series of ancient shrines within the grounds of a ruined temple built long ago before the Eternal Conflict between Echo and Vortex that formed after Duality disappeared. Nobody ever really knew what happened to the one Gim who brought unity to the area, and the official histories have been twisted with the lies of each faction. Despite that, rumors still persist in small village enclaves like the one in which you grew up, orphaned after an Echo raid did massive collateral damage to a Vortex settlement during the extraction of some asset. It was here that you learned of the old legends in which monsters and ghouls roamed the valley, once slaughtering Gimkind before Duality United them against the threat. Being curious, you decided to go on a camping excursion into the southern woods where the temple was rumored to be, to see this place from which the conflict that has torn your life apart began. When you arrive, everything seems rather normal, just a bunch of overgrown and eroded stones forgotten by the world that nature has started to reclaim. But upon closer investigation, you find a large door with lunar phases inscribed onto it, as well as some scratched out text and a strange circle at its center. After collecting some stone runes from around the main temple, which were often located near oddly circular structures shaped like doorways but leading nowhere, the circle glows red and opens the door to reveal an ominous crimson portal swirling in the center of a larger version of the structure you noticed previously. From deep within it you hear a voice growl ominously:

“It has begun.”

This is followed by an eerie cackle and the sound of massive energy releases behind you. You flee the chamber, only to see that the world has gone dark, as if plunged into night, and that a red barrier surrounds the temple grounds, trapping you in. In the horizon, you begin to see a blood moon rise, and as it does so, you notice another portal open in a shrine from earlier. It is jade green, with vines coming out of it and encircling the frame. You enter in an attempt to escape find yourself in an overgrown cave with strange and aggressive sentient plants coming in waves in an attempt to surge through the portal. Even after defeating them, there seems to be no exit, and upon returning to the main temple, the portal crumbles behind you, and you note another portal has opened, spilling over an icy wasteland from which Ozis and Snowbeards emerge. After fighting them back and breaking the portal, you watch as the Blood Moon reaches its zenith, and a clocked figure emerges from the red portal. They call themselves Azrael, promising a reign of destruction and anarchy beyond what the current war has caused, and gloat over having possessed Duality, so that what once unified the Gims will now end them. In a desperate last stand, you manage to weaken the entity’s hold over Duality, freeing them to aid you and banish the creature, casting out the evil that has invaded the minds of the warring factions, and enabling a lasting peace once more.

I wrote this before you added the bit about a ship, please include that first next time.

Ill give you 4 lores because I like 4, so you can pick which one is better, if you need more lores, Ill see what I have in store more than you asked for…

The “RIFT” is a constant source of danger, with new portals apearing, and the monsters strength increasing over time! The GUARDIANS must constantly adapt and find new ways to fight the invading forces.

The monsters that emerge are not a unified species, but rather a cray cray collection of beings from various planes of existence, each with powerful abilities and vulnerabilities. Some are fueled by the Rift’s energy, while others are simply dragged across dimensions (Gimkit lore creators) by its chaotic effects.

A mysterious organization, known only as “The COWNCILL” oversees the Guardians work. Their goals are often shrouded in secrecy, and their methods are occasionally questioned. They control the resources, equipment, and training, (and the forums) and they act as the ultimate authority in the omniverse (all universes and multiverse combined)

The Rift’s effects are not just to the monsters. The surrounding areas of The omniverse, and even beyond, are affected by the chaos, with strange phenomenal events and environmental changes becoming increasingly common. The COWNCILL is studying the effects of the Rift on the local ecosystem and attempting to ELIMINAT’E the damage.

WHAT DO THE PLAYERS DO!?, Take on the role of GUARDIANS, adapting to the challenges of the RIFT and battling the monsters. They might be part of a team, a lone wolf, or a member of a specialized unit. Their actions have a HUUUUGE impact on the outcome of the fight and the fate of Gimkit…

Despite the challenges, the GUARDIANS represent the last line of defense against the inevitable darkness. Their bravery and dedication give a glimmer of hope for humanity in the face of the Rifts relentless (stay relentless) assa3lt.
oops I added 6
