How would I make it so I can look down on something – say, something’s below me, how do I make it look like it’s below me? (there’s a hole you can fall in and I want it to look like there’s something there)
you can use a camera point
or a repeater
How so? I don’t want to change their perspective fully.
Is this platformer or top-down?
How do you want it to be below the player? Like, them seeing it as below themselves while still seeing their player, or a first-person kinda view?
top-down. i want the player to look down and still see them selves
btw can’t respond for about 3.5 hours so
I’d do an ellipse-like shape below them, then.
Like this thing:

There’s a text symbol for it somewhere, I think.
![]()
In this case, I think 3D terrain would work pretty well to convey that something is below the player.
You’ve already seen and liked this guide apparently, but I think this is sorta what you’re going for.
You might be able to add a camera view that’s deactivated on game start? Idk how this is gonna magnify everything but it’s what I can think of that people haven’t already said
…Well, when you aim gadgets, you can look farther down. (Is that what you mean?)
You can just make it so you have no ammo for the gadget.
