I am making a jaws game but I don’t know if i should make it 1 person a shark and everyone is survivor like dbd or if it should be hunt the shark.also how should the ending go?before u ask I did do this but I think the post was deleted so I’m doing this again
Make sure it isn’t too scary/violent, as that would violate the Gimkit publishing guidelines. I think it would be more fun if one person is the shark, and maybe if everyone survives, they find some kind of island in the middle of the sea and have to survive on that.
Sort of like an Act I and Act II, where they think they’ve finally survived, but then they actually have to beat a boss on the island.
oh great thanks.should I add upgrades?
Sure, I always like games with upgrades.
What kind of upgrades are you thinking?
shark bait, speed, ways to defend your self, sabotages thing like that.also I like ur wings of fire picture, is it turtle?
Neat!
(Yep, I found it in the vast depths of the internet)
Yeah, I read it a while ago. Let’s try to stay on-topic, though.
I like the series also
Okay, here’s what I’ve got:
- Players spawn in. One becomes the shark while the rest have to survive.
- If the players survive a certain amount of time- let’s say five or so minutes, then the shark loses and is out of the game.
- If the players lose, then the game ends and the shark wins/ another round starts.
- Whenever the players win against the shark, they have to survive swimming to shore, but they end up actually swimming to an island.
- On the island, the players have to survive for three nights, each night with different monsters trying to attack them, until the third day, when they have to defeat a boss.
- With the boss defeated, the players can live on the island happily ever after. Yay!
Throughout the game, the players can purchase upgrades using coins they get from defeating monsters and completing tasks. Sound interesting? [1]
I finally figured this out ↩︎
sounds good but how would I do rounds?
Well, each round, if the players lose, you can teleport them back to the start and start the timer again. I think. Do you want specific instructions?
Okay, got it!
Timer ends (counter has a target of whatever time you need> Transmit on Channel > Reset counter and teleport players to the start again > Start timer. Should work.
yes please that would be nice
Er, hang on, I’m working on it. Trying to find a decent guide.
Don’t feel pressured to mark a solution.
Let me know if you need a hand with anything else.
thanks for helping out
Yeah, no problem! Have a good day
