If I were to make a map and advertise it on Youtube or at school so people would play it, would it be considered breaking the guidelines? I mean, yes, it is advertising, but that only counted for the forums I think. It wouldn’t be on the forums, but I am still not sure if I can do it. Help?
As long as its not in forums your ok

Advertising your map isn’t against the rules. Just don’t make posts about it on the forums. I hope this answered your question! :)

How come when i mentioned my map for the first time on forums people ranted about it?
I don’t know, it depends. If you made an entire post about it you’re telling people to play your map, people would probably do that. If you just mentioned it briefly then people probably shouldn’t do that.

All i said was the game name and how there was a bug where you can only find it if you remove the last letter and i needed help to know if it was normal, i still have the post saved.

Going back i realized i mentioned playtesting but it was mainly about the glitch and improving the game
