Typewriter text is when text appears one letter at a time. I want to use this for the game I’m working on, hunter, but I don’t know if it’s possible. Thanks!

I don’t think it’d be possible, as pop-ups don’t have add-able blocks, and the only possible text customization is the font and the background color
.
I know. But is it possible to open and close popups fast enough that it creates the illusion of animation?
(I know I posted twice. I just repeated because of the annoying reply glitch.)
I mean, probably? It’s use a lot of memory though, depending on how many letters you need
I can show you if you want, but it might not be worth it
It’s one character, and a five-word sentence, so memory wouldn’t be a problem. However, when you open a new pop-up, there is a quick animation of the old one sliding down. Is there a way to directly cut this out?
@Hdangerzones Sorry for the ping, but the reply didn’t work again, and I don’t want to repost.
I’ll see, I don’t think there is, but if you open/close popups fast enough it may not matter…
Dw about pinging me I’m fine with it
So, if you use a repeater chain, and maybe directly open the new pop-up, it will cancel the animation? (I know overloading memory can also accomplish this, but then I won’t have room for anything else.)
WHY ARE MY REPLIES NOT REPLYING? ![]()
That’s what I’m trying to figure out… not good with loops (lmao they tie my brain up into a knot), so my way probably isn’t that efficient (it’s just a bunch of popups that use a trigger with a 0.01 second delay). But it’ll get the results in
–edit–
It does not work, the popups will not auto-open and close (at least for me). IF anyone else wants to try, then knock yourself out! (not really lol, it’s just a phrase)
I did see that guide, but that’s not exactly what I need. I want to use popups, since it is dialogue. (Sorry, I didn’t clarify this.)
