Is it possible to make roles have debuffs?

I made some roles for my map and I was wondering if there is any way to add debuffs to them. for example:
Prepared: Starts with supplies but has less health

I’m also not sure if this has been talked about in a different post because I couldn’t find anything about it

If it is an energy to move you could make the debuff be more energy taket per tick

Yes, it is absolutely possible to give roles debuffs. You could have a role selection room, with buttons that connect to devices such as item granters for supplies, or a damager for giving them less health.

How has no one said speed modifier?
Anyways, you can make players slower with it.

Currently the roles are:
Vigilante: Starts with a ranged gadget
Cave expert: Starts with a epic pickaxe

I know how to make a speed debuff and the debuffs I imagined for the roles were the vigilante has less health and the cave expert can not have shield

you can use a damager to decrease health

And I assume the shield one is not possible?

The damager does damage to both health and shield. Assuming at game start health and shield is 100, for vigilante just have the damager deal 100 damage + how much health you want taken away and then use a health granter to add shield back after. For cave expert have a damage deal 100 damage. Just replace the 100’s with whatever the starting shield is.

If your map uses the medkit item which full heals the player you can make it not full heal the vigilante by using a checker to see when the player uses the medkit and then reducing health.
