I am making a tactical shooter and I decided to make a game about rescuing “flags,” meant to represent people. How do I make it so that if the police grabs the flag and rescues it, the flag gets “deactivated” until the next round starts?
If this isn’t possible, what are some alternatives?

When the flag gets placed into the capture zone, put a barrier over the flag

I was thinking about that. But then a player could just stay there. I was thinking about adding a spot where if a player stayed there, they would get knocked out using a respawn thing, but I thought that was kind of weird. I may have try using that if there are no other alternatives.

how about this:
when the barrier is activate, also activate a zone that respawns anyone in it, or teleport them out
couldve sworn there was a deactivate flag option…
