If you are just asking how to make an invisible maze:
You need to place barriers and then set them to invisible, then just repeat that.
This can work in both platformer and top-down btw 
Alright then! Here’s a simple way to create what you want. (or at least what I think you want. It’s hard to tell)
When placing terrain, there are two options: Wall and Floor
By placing a path of Floor tiles, and surrounding them in Wall tiles, you can create an invisible maze that you need to work your way through! This only works in top-down and if you use the same terrain the entire time, but oh well.
