‘Internal Defense System’ help needed

… I really don’t wanna make a whole topic for one question but here we are.

So I want to make a sentry fire at someone when they enter a zone. The zone is animated, so it constantly changes. Think of a camera scanning a room and firing at a gim who enters its range.

Trouble is, sentries have 360 vision so they’ll fire at anyone who enters the room…

Uh.

Yeah.

How make sentries have not 360 vision and make them scan a room.

You can just eliminate players who enter the zone, it would be much easier. You can deactivate and activate zones in different areas.

It can’t insta-knockout them, as the camera is too fast and it would be pretty unfair. It also has to be quite visual.

you could make barriers move around blocking the sentry though this might not work with your map

Is there any code blocks you could use for that?

It can’t eliminate them, but you can take away its health/shield, maybe?

You could make a sentry that is passive and when you enter the zone you deactivate and activate another ontop of it and it shoots at you when you leave the zone deactivate agressive sentry and reactivate the passive one?
