Infinitely firing in one direction after game end

Hey everybody!
I was just playing a creative game from discovery, and at the end they placed a sentry for me to knock out. So, naturally, I used the pixelator I was granted and ko’d the sentry. But the pixelator, like the zapper and blaster, is a gadget you can hold and it will fire. So I did.
I ko’d the sentry and the game ended, but I kept on pressing and it kept on firing.
Even stranger, I then moved my cursor around but it just kept on firing in that one direction.
When I did let go, it stopped firing.
Also interesting: when I was firing, I was hitting dynamic terrain. The terrain kept on taking and displaying damage when it was hit post-game.

As for gameplay, it didn’t mess anything up, it was just kinda intriguing. I really just want to know if this happens to everybody else and if there’s a logical explanation to this.

I thought this was normal lol
You mean like, it you can move your gadget after the game ends, right?

I mean, email hello@gimkit.com if you think this is a bug, but I don’t think it is.

Would this be a bug from adding last-second functions to the relay lifecycle? It could have accidentally left the gadget fire on?

I can move it and it still fires in that one direction until I stop pressing down.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the lifecycle.
But would that really affect normal things? That’s pre-game end, this is post-game end.

Then you can just do this with the lifecycle, like @Slim stated.
when game is ending > grant -1 pixelators

Can this be used in a game?

Great idea! The only problem is this wasn’t my game, so…
unless others decide to use this this’ll last for eternity.

Also since that basically solves the “problem” I was mentioning I’ll mark solution.
