I want to turn real board games into gimkit maps (preferably bigger games such as monopoly and risk and less of the smaller/shorter time length games). I’m struggling to find good ideas of popular games people might enjoy and feasible games that don’t take months to create. I’m working on Risk right now but it is going to take a while and a kinda want to be moving faster or else I’ll lose interest.

Most simple: Monopoly. Just walk on spaces to get money.

My main struggle is just making the map and dividing it into the different territories because it’s so tedious. I’m using a simplified map I found online for reference and the Risk 1959 classic reproduction for the territory divisions. I’ve currently created North America and dreading doing the rest.

I have been trying to do that but changing properties for 64 squares is super tedious.
You could do solitaire.
Or more effectively snake.

How would you do snake? Does that not include lots of moving parts and human inputs with precise timing? not things gimkit is rlly known for
monopoly, you could do sorry (when players land on the same space a tag device would knock the other player out). Checkers would be good, but very advanced.

Maybe something for younger children, like Mouse Trap? I believe that could be easier as it is simpler than some other games out there, and some people, I believe, hold that game close to their heart.
