Ideas for a two player platformer theme

hi guys i was wondering if you guys have any ideas for a two player platformer theme. i was thinking that the players could start at different places and race up to the top but i don’t know what the theme should be. ty

what about a yin/yang theme? one player’s yin, the other’s yang, and they can only step on their colored spaces

yea thats goodr and u could use the Echo and Vortex thingys like sentries and stuff bc they r black and white

I’ve asked people and they say gim is pronounced “jim”, but why isn’t it written as Jim???
Seriously, I actually don’t know how to pronounce gimkit.

I just made a game like this! make a difficult platformer with many different props, sentries, and obstacles, and add secret gadgets hidden around the map. also make it a race to the top.

The theme could be forced teamwork or smth lol
Basically there are like two paths or smth one path per person and on one persons path they have stuff like buttons that open barriers on the other persons path and vice versa

yeah kinda like that but like more restricted? like one person cant go on the other persons path unlike fireboy and water girl where they kinda just like shared a path
