Ideas for a game revisiting old Gimkit modes

So I had an idea to recreate old Gimkit game modes and recreate them to be 2d platformer levels, and the gameplay turned into mechanics to either help you progress or stop your progress and have to use an ability (being time stop, lasting 5 seconds) progress
here is the level list, each gamemode has 2 levels based on it, some game modes that have the same map or are very similar, will be combined.

Levels
  • Fishtopia
  • One way out
  • Tag: Domination/Capture the flag (act 1 is Tag, act 2 capture the flag)
  • Knockback
  • Don’t Look down
  • Farmchain
  • Snowbrawl/Snowy Survival
  • Apocolypse.

Now I need help getting ideas for the mechanics in these levels, here is the format I need

Level: the level the mechanic will be in
Act: the act this level is in, either act 1 or act 2.
Description: Name of the mechanic and how it works.

Please use this format as it will make it easier for me to tell which mechanic is for what level and how it would work. you may give level Design examples for the mechanic if you want.

When you say mechanic, do you mean something as in slope jumps? Just like a mechanic that the player needs to use to pass the level? Also, what are the acts for?

acts are just 2 parts of a whole level, they are treated as 2 seperate levels combined to make a huge level. mechanics are things players use to pass the level, or an obstacle in the way of the player.

Are you making all the modes in one map if so , it might be hard to make snow-brawl since for Knockback , you need fragility .And fragility and snow brawl are’nt really the best combo.
