Well, whatever the mysteries are, they should tie well with the map. If you have an idea of what you want the map to be, then use that to come up with mysteries. Use your imagination. It’s a very powerful tool God has given you!
You should use keys so that they need that key to go to the next room. You should make the mysteries something like finding something missing.
