How to make a successful Dungeon Crawler!

I have played countless dungeon crawlers, some great, some decent, and some not so decent. Today, I’m going over what you need to do to make a successful dungeon crawler! Btw, for those of you who say that there’s already guides on this, no there’s not. Those guides are built on how to make them, not explaining what makes them successful. Dungeons Now, the first thing you need to focus on is the dungeons themselves. You can have multiple dungeons that are randomized, or just one huge dungeon.…

It’s a actually a very good guide in my opinion + it has pictures.
Also, is the game platformer or top-down? I have ideas based on both of them. (FYI, the Teto vs. Gnarpy war is a war for which side has the most people with either Gnarpy profile pics or Kasane Teto profile pics.)

Okay, for ideas, maybe this dungeon is haunted by the Spirits of the Puzzle Masters, an ancient civilization of puzzlers and riddlers. The dungeon houses their most important an ancient artifacts and treasures, and is guarded by 3 powerful bosses, listed below .

Boss 1: Jigsaw

Gim: Jigsaw (Green & Blue)
Gadget: Zapper (Legendary)
Phases:

Phase 1: Jigsaw summons giant jigsaw pieces all over the map. If you’re in the way when they land, you get damaged. (Use this emoji )
Phase 2: Jigsaw fires lasers at you, in addition to the previous attack
Phase 3: Jigsaw summons smaller versions of himself to attack
Once defeated, collect Jigsaw’s green key to unlock the exit

Boss 2: The Riddler

Gim: Sketch (Graph Paper)
Gadget: Wooden Wand (Epic)
Phases:

Phase 1: No attacking. The Riddler asks you questions as a series of dialogues/popups. Answer any wrong, then he damages you. Get 4 questions wrong, then he oofs you, and you have to restart. Once all questions are answered correctly, he starts phase 2.
Phase 2: Still doesn’t attack, just summons jigsaw clones to attack. Once 30 are KOed, then he starts phase 3.
Phase 3: Starts attacking you. Summons minions, and a popup will randomly, well…pop up, with a question. Answer wrong, get damaged. Answer correctly, gain 5 health and resume battling.
Once defeats, drops blue key to unlock exit.

Boss 3: Shadeborne

Gim: Take a guess
Gadget: Timekeeper (Legenadry)
Phases:

Phase 1: Summons jigsaw gim’s to attack. The boss is currently surrounded by a force field. You have to destruct the force field generator to start phase 2.
Phase 2: The boss itself is almost impossible to KO at this point, so instead he summons vines to damage you. Attack the vines and destruct them to start phase 3
Phase 3: This is complicated. Shadeborne will summons shadow portals to damage you, lightning to instakill you, and clones to distract you. The player is going to have a real tough time to fight him.
Upon defeat, he reverts to a much smaller form, and begs for mercy. You can either k!ll him and proceed to the treasure, or have mercy on him, and walk away with nothing. Player’s choice.
