So, Lately I’ve been making a murd3r mystery game that takes place on a luxurious train Which is totally not inspired by a popular minecraft video.
I have things like covered rooms (you have to walk into them to see inside) and multiple train cars but I kinda want more ideas for train cars and abilities/things the murd3rer can do.
Hacking
So basically, if the k!ller finds a hidden laptop, then they can go to the driving section of the train, hack it, and make a everyone move faster
Vents:
The k!ller can also use vents, however these vents can be used by innocents, if they find a screwdriver. The k!ller will only be able to see what room the drop in. Not the people inside it
Items:
There are also hidden items around the place that players/k!ller can use to their advantage.
Money:
Everyone has a starting amount of money. The civilians can do tasks for other people, that helps them earn money they can spend. The k!ller can earn money by completing black market quests, found on their phone
Ideas for money usage:
Food car/Bar
Like a mini store
Keycards used to access other parts of the train
Traits:
Survivors and killers should be able to pick a character with special traits
Survivors
Rushing Guy
1.2x Speed boost
Faster at searching for items
Killers
Sneaky Guy:
Has stealth, making it easier to enter restricted ares with out getting caught
Rooms
Bathroom - Yes a bathroom
Dining Hall - When you order food there, you might get buffs/debuffs
Meeting room (For Emergency meetings)
Storage Room - Many items can be found here
Adding off of @Zappy_Zaptos s idea. Maybe instead of the front of the train, there should be a power grid sector that the k!ller can turn off the lights
Looking at this, I’m noticing a certain lack of an outside from the referenced video.
If you want an extra mechanic, you can tp a player who “goes outside” to a different area, which would be the train outside.
Obviously, this would be used for escaping, like in the actual video, and the outside would be locked unless unlocked with a lock pick (like in the video).
I haven’t created the environment from the video because Im planning on creating all the cars first so I don’t have to change the environment if I ever add a new one.
Teeny Tiny Bit Off Topic But I Gotta Answer The Question...
@Zappy_Zaptos That was the name of my account at that time,
It refers to a system on roblox where you can enter a star code when buying robux to support a creator, (like a youtuber).
