This looks interesting, here’s some lore to base your game on.
If your game is single-player…
You’re celebrating tonight. You and your whole crew. You’ve all been fighting against the Horde for weeks. Now, they’ve been defeated. Or so you thought. Trouble’s been brewing to the west, as one member of the Horde has grown, both in size and strength. His name was Lord Truck-A-Tron. He has asserted himself as a leader and instead of the Horde just using brute strength to push onward and repetitively fail, he says to gather up under Mt. Hood and devise a plot to win. As they talked, the ceiling of the cave suddenly gave way and revealed a mysterious artifact (Medium Shards) containing the powers of creation. Using it, they create new types of zombies. Although immobile, they are powerful. Ranging from huge Lava Titans (Tectonic Rumbles Sentries at size 1.5) to the spellcaster Shadows (Shadeborn gims). Armed with gadgets, powerful allies, and the cover of darkness, they march forward and attack the base, easily destr0ying it and breaking in. You and your comrades must find the artifact and dest0y it. But it won’t be easy. You’ll have to adventure through the Endless Plains, the rocky Lava Spires, and finally Mt. Hood to defeat Lord Truck-A-Tron, destr0y the artifact, and save the desert.
If your game is multi-player…
The zombies have been defeated. There are no more. There is peace in the land. You are the assistant of Crimson Cruz, a great leader and general who led the stranded gims to fight the Horde. But not everyone is happy with his leadership. One gim, named William Broker, is unhappy with how he handled a recent loss of several farms. He and a group of other unhappy farmer gims arranged a secret meeting at the abandoned nuclear power plant. There they discussed plans to rebel against Cruz. Unfortunately, there was a recent meltdown and they didn’t bother to clean up the facility. One clumsy gim accidentally spilled his GimGulp onto a leaking nuclear barrel. This caused a violent reaction which led to a massive expl0sion. Everybody presumed they were de@d. Instead, they were turned into the new Horde. More powerful than the original. To act this out, have some players be randomly selected to be on Team 2 (The Horde) and give them whatever gadget you want them to have. Have Team 1 defend the base. You should also make a sealed off area, that being the nuclear power plant. For this, have a huge gaping hole to signify how large the expl0sion was.
