You see the blue bell on the left? Set it to the gray one and you won’t get any more notifications
I know how the notification system works. The question was not intended to elicit an explanation of a basic system, but rather identify why somebody pinged me in the first place, as the post it is registered to was taken down 20 hours before I saw the notif.
