I need help setting up a trap but my pressure plate wont work how do i get it to work?

i am trying to build a trap but I don’t know you to make it so once they walk in they are trapped

the sentries are already activated and stuff but I need them to be traped in the room

I did but that only activates the sentry I did that but I need a barrier to appear or something to keep them trapped in the same room with the sentries and for a different barrier to disaper when the sentries are dead
