how do I add like text on the screen am not talking about the device thing it like pops up on your screen then goes away

If you don’t want to use a popup or the text device, you can use the game overlay device, or the notification device. To make the game overlay, or the text device pop up and disappear, use a trigger that has a delay and triggers another trigger to hide the text, but please explain further if you want more help.

Yeah, that’s the popup device.
That is called a popup. If you search the devices you can find it. Set up the buttons and you can also add an image! (The image can only be an item image basically)
You could also use the other mode that is not a modal (I forget what it’s called) and have the text slide up from the bottom.
On that One Way Out popup how come they have a close button when you can literally click out to close?

So do you want a close button this is how you do that
things you will need
- zone
- game overlay
- popup
- trigger
Step 1 place the zone where you want to show the popup
Step 2 place a popup change the settings for it to
Step 3 place a game overlay change settings for it to
Step 4 wire the popup to the game overlay
and do this with the popup & trigger
Step 5 wire the zone to the game overlay
Step 6 wire the game overlay to the popup
Step 7 try it
Step 8 enjoy

It’s called a Banner.
But There is something called efficiency too
I would recommend if your helping someone not to go too complicated on a easy topic
as it just confuses the user and or they don’t want it due to memory
Go to devices and get a game overlay. go into the settings and set “overlay type” to text. then, change the text to whatever you want it to say
