I need help on building maybe a new map for gimkit if it passes inspection

You can ask others for helps in game on the wixsite or on discord.

It’s also to prevent advertising, that’s not allowed here either.
Don’t question the rules, just follow em.

Well:

  1. People could delete your whole map or add something inappropriate
  2. As @awesome_potato said, it’s seen as adveritising
    There might be more reasons, but these are basically the main reasons code-sharing isn’t allowed.

It doesn’t matter what purpose you intend to share them for, because it still can be seen as advertising. Also, the first one can happen under any circumstances, so it’s best not to share codes.

  1. Codes and game links are prohibited on these forums because griefers can easily hop on and delete everything in your map.
  2. Similarly, people can join with inappropriate names or place inappropriate or harmful content in your map. They could also join with their real name by accident, which is personal information.
  3. Whether intentional or not, code sharing is viewed as a form of advertisement.
  4. These forums are dedicated to helping people with specific game mechanics, and are not intended for chatting or playing games together. Go to the Wix site for that!

We get that you’re curious about the rules, but they are in place for a reason [1] and should be followed if you don’t want to be suspended, or worse.

uhh the uhh uhh uhh the uhh the the uhh, so anyways, top down or platformer, i can’t help that much unless i know, and what they said is true, maybe we all know that it’s not advertising, but there’s gonna be somebody that’s gonna maul you even if we all know, and it’s generally good not to test the boundaries of the rules.
