I am making a map and in the map there is checkpoints and when you hit those checkpoints a overlay appears in the top right corner and it says: “Checkpoint!” but It just stays there and doesn’t go away and I want it to go away, does anyone know how to help me.
Wire it to a trigger.
Make the trigger’s delay however long you want.
Wire the trigger to the overlay to “hide overlay”.
(also, if u want to save memory, use notifications.)
ok but that’s WAY too much memory
(also trigger loop is better than repeater)
Here is another way (sorry yaypie)
Basically, grab a
- Counter
- Repeater (why do people not like this?)
- Overlay
- Button (in order to start the process)
Ok, for the Counter, set its starting value to 10, and set its target value to 0.
For the Repeater, set it at a interval of 1 second, and have it stop after 10 seconds.
Wire the Repeater to the Counter:
When repeater runs → Decrement Counter
Now wire the Counter to the Overlay:
(Counter) when target value reached → hide Overlay
Finally, wire the Button to the Repeater and Overlay:
Button pressed → Start repeater/show overlay
I hope this helps!
Thank you
