Need help making a platformer, Apocalyspe, style map any ideas? Deadline: 4/1/25

A platformer apocolypse style map..?
Could you… Elaborate?
Just for my understanding, because I’m running on four hours of coffee, and my brain simply isn’t having it right now.
@C-C I want to make a map with zombies ( or plants) and i want to make the terrain like that in One Way Out i also need an ending
One way out is a top down game, your original post says you want a platformer… is that still in play?
And for an ending, I’ll need any snippets of lore or story line that you have.
I do want a platformer for my game.
Lore(zombies): There was a science lab that was testing a serum when a scientist became infected and you as the hero need to save the world before the remains of society are destroyed.
Lore(plants): Ther was a science lab that was testing a serum on plants when one of the plants mutated and infected everything you as the hero need to save gim-manity (?) and stop the evil Patient 0 and it’s evil plans to take over the world.
In both timelines the setting is futuristic.
Okay. Here’s what I’ve got. You pick which one you like more. I’m doing them in audio / captain logs, and then i’ll follow with a timeline. I suggest using The brain in a jar gim and the Frankenstein gim for the zombies, along with a few more halloween gims like Bonesy and Ozi.
Zombie Lore
Log 001: “This is day one of testing, so far- we’ve only been able to secure small animals for the procedure. More logs when further progress has been made.”
This first log will start before the infection.
Log 003: After multiple Court summons, we’ve been able to gain access to a multitude of prisoners from a high-security prison. We’ll begin testing on them shortly.
This is towards the first few days of testing.
Log 006: “Testing has been going well, and the patients seem to be in good health. Signs show that they are feeling slightly more hungry than usual, however.”
This is about a week into testing.
Log 010: “One of the patients became too violent to continue experimentation the other day. The report says that the prisoner, after throwing up and ‘feeling nauseous’, bit his doctor. Further analysis required.”
This should be about a month into testing.
Log 023: “THE PATIENTS HAVE ESCAPED, AND THEY’RE GOING BALLISTIC! I don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to contain them-!” (Abrupt end to the log.)
This should be around 2-3 months into testing, after some bad signs were shown.
Log 037: “We’re under attack! The patients have begun to turn in color to a swamp green- and they seem to no longer have pupil dialation! They’re hitting the door as I write this- Oh no..” (Abrupt end to log)
Two days before the main character / player sets out to save the world.
Now, the player’s lore.
The player, once a normal gim citizen, set out to save the world from the zombie apocalypse after one day, whilst working at their mundane 9 to 5, was attacked by a rogue zombie entering their workplace. Upon getting rid of the zombie, the player looks out to see the destruction, and decides that this is the time- the time to rise and be the hero.
I’d write more, but there’s not much to work with.
Added the timeline, and currently working on plant lore.
