I’m trying to figure out if I should let my game out for the version alpha, to see if people would like it and get recommendations, should I?

You should elaborate on what kind of game you need recommendations on, instead of asking about whether you should publish your game, please provide more information.

Depends on the type of game and how developed it currently is.

Okay, it’s a solo exploration game, it will be updated, not just left alone. It’s gonna be expanded etc. You can defeat monsters, bosses, collect different boosts, items, etc. It’ll have events to celebrate birthdays and some major holidays. I am working on a saving system too.
Yeah I did that with the one game I made might as well there’s no major drawbacks.
