Welcome back! @ImaDinosaur
Hello, everyone! You are probably still wondering why I haven’t yet added the other devices yet, and I just wanted to apologize! I’ve been busy! This week is exam practice week, so I’ve been very busy studying for midterm exams and everything!
(yess!) Next week is my break week, so I’m not going to be active. I might pop on a bit to look at a few topics, give a couple of likes, but I wanted to let you know – I plan on adding them tomorrow! And to make up for it, I have a big surprise!
After I finish making this, I’m going to start working on a HUGE project map in Gimkit Creative, and I’m gonna need LOTS of help! (yes, it’s that serious.)
I’m gonna tell y’all about it tomorrow, along with adding the rest of the devices!
Let’s just say it’s gonna be MAGICAL!
Also, before I go, could anyone add a list of the devices I need to add? I will credit them in the guide and also give them a special recognition in my upcoming MYSTICAL project!
See you all tomorrow! Good night, everyone!
With bear-hugs of love,
@California_Love

My take on the repeater: The repeater is trading off simplicity for a lot more memory than it needs to. It is still bad, don’t get me wrong, just new players would most likely use repeaters as their choice because they don’t yet understand how a trigger loop works. I started to use repeaters on one of my first maps until I realized there was a limit to them and I was also at 99% memory.
Agreed, but also, we can TEACH them how to do trigger loops, so that they can think more effectively.
Have y’all forgotten about how good counters are? It’s a trigger, but better. At literally everything (except for memory and the pressy-thingy). Counters Are Wonderful!
Based opinion. Imma make a map with only barriers (I don’t have the season ticket).
Good morning, everyone! I’m going to start off by saying I’m not going to make three polls. There are a lot more devices than I thought! I’m going to includes these devices as they have either been mentioned or are worthy of being included.

Good morning, everyone! I just wanted to say that today’s FINAL day to vote on the devices! Since I plan on starting the guide later today, voting will be closed at around 1:00 pm, so if you want to change your votes, do it quickly! I added a list of the devices I added above! ↑
I also wanted to say thank you for giving nearly 20 likes on the topic, and giving about 300 likes overall! This has become my most popular discussion, so I am very grateful!
I am starting the guide probably this afternoon (if I don’t–it’ll be right when I come back from Thanksgiving break!) I also plan on making a topic about my SENSATIONAL upcoming project! Here’s a clue-- you could become a PRODIGY!
But remember → Vote before the poll ends this AFTERNOON before 1:00 pm!!
This has been Cali, and I’ll see y’all pretty soon!
Have a wonderful rest of your morning!
With California-sizes of thankfulness,
@California_Love
Most games I see with only barriers are Difficulty Chart Obbies and Stache’s Slope Jumps, so a top-down barrier-only game would be cool!
Also @California_Love some devices are still missing, like the starting inventory.
End game is easily up there for the worst to overuse, since you only need one.
The Repeater’s still going strong… nearly half of the votes…
It wasn’t that bad BEFORE everybody started realizing the Repeater had some uses.
The game overlay is AMAZING, each game in discovery has at least one overlay, this is just a theory, it’s not proven tho
Nice opinion, I guess. I do appreciate game overlays, and I do expect them to make top 10! So OP games use game overlays, like:
- Among Us
- The Forbidden Islands
- Ultimate Dodgeball
- Everest Platformer
- Gimkart Games
- Most games that were made with effort
EXACTLY I am so new to properties nowadays but since understanding them I totally agree
I can’t even understand them
He does understand them I am re reading and I am correct
Good afternoon, everyone! I have a small announcement:
The polls are closed! I am making the guide when I come back from Thanksgiving break!
Thanks for giving me 160 votes on each poll, and 320 votes total! Thank you so much, everyone!
I am making a post about my upcoming project!
I will not be active during the weekend or during all of the next week — I will reply when I have time! Everyone please ENJOY your Thanksgiving Break!
