I’ve seen posts like ‘how create noise system for my doors game’ so much I wanna make this topic.
A noise system is where a zone is highlighted so that something happens, whether it’s sentries staring at that or just get jumped by [REDACTED].
I wonder how we could create that in GKC.
My idea is zones! Or waypoints. Maybe if some noise triggering function (?) is called, then we sorta do some code to make something happen.
Or for waypoints, we can mark where that noise is so players rush there.
I have no idea if this will even be allowed, but…I think it may benefit the GKC community.
Also I’m not talking actual noise, I’m saying a zone highlighted for sentries and stuff. Think back to my Burgle Cats post.
Does anyone else have any other way of creating noise? Or do you have problems with this sorta system? Or is this is even allowed? yawn

A noise system not as for sentries go pew pew pew pew pew but rather for Doors/Pressure (UNDERRATED, but a lil violent) games, like a waypoint to say ‘look noise over there’
closest thing I could think of it is a waypoint, but the vending machine is the only device that makes sound (except for the button which makes a click sound). You have to wire it like this
input → attempt to purchase vending machine
and keep the vending machine at default settings. you can even go farther to create more noises with this
input → attempt to purchase vending machine
input → wire repeater repeat wire pulse
wire repeater → attempt to purchase vending machine
the thing with noise tho, is that GIMKIT even though does have noise, it is not reliant on it. if your game requires
sound, then it would be VERY ANNOYING, and makes it a lot less fun to play, cause sometimes, we don’t have the conditions to play with noise.
