How to Show/Hide Overlays

I’m making a game where if you have an item, an overlay shows. If you don’t have the item, it doesn’t show. How do I do this?

Use a checker to see if the player has the item then if they do show the overlay.

Ok, let me try that.

Wait, never mind… sorry for pinging you.

It’s fine if you ping me.

And if the check doesn’t pass, you can hide the overlay if you want to lose it.

@awesomeT43, It’s not working.

Wolf, are you going to be around much over the summer?

sadly no. not much, in fact I’m leaving this thursday. I’m traveling a lot and lose my school pc. so i won’t be able to get on much. But i may pop in from time to time. We’ll see.

A lot of people are leaving because their school computer is going to be taken away. Fortunately, I have my own MacBook.

Yeah, I should still be around some over the summer, but I’ll be on my laptop instead of my school chromebook. This is exactly how the dark days started last year.

welp i will be back so hopefully it doesn’t repeat. :grin:

I’m still kind of disappointed that Gimkit is shutting down the money system for the summer. It’s the only free time I have to play.

its fair, they make all of the cool cosmetics over the summer so they have stuff for next year. plus many ppl would miss some limited cosmetics because they can’t get on.
