You can’t become a mod by being here for a while, you have to be promoted by a mod to be a mod

to add this shortcut:

1. click the plus button at the bottom of the sidebar
2. fill this out:
   
   
3. click save

This allows you to message the moderators in one click, much faster than the normal method @harharharhar83 provided.
