How to monitor a button

I need help on figuring out how to monitor a button. I need to deactivate a barrier, and show text when the button deactivates. I don’t know how to do this at all.

What do you mean? It doesn’t come up with an option like that.

What do you want to cause the barrier to deactivate
then I can tell you what to do

When the button deactivates, I want the barrier to reappear.

to do everything else connect a wire from the button to the barrier
select when button deactivated deactivate barrier
then connect a wire from barrier to text so it says
when Barrier deactivated activate text
