How to make your own thumbnails!

So here’s why I’m making this:
There are so many thumbnail posts right now GimKit Forums are slowly dying, so I’m going to try to help. The website is so slow and anything takes about 3 minutes to load.
I can make thumbnails, so I will show you how to make your own.
If you don’t understand, please ask for help below!

How to make your own
  1. Go to Canva.com
  2. Sign in or log in with an account.
  3. Click create a design in the top right corner.
  4. Search “YouTube Thumbnail” (the size of thumbnails is just right!)
  5. Go to remove.bg/upload (keep canva open!)
  6. Find a background image.
  7. Download the image and upload it to canva
  8. Make the image set to the background of the canva project.
  9. Find gims!
  10. Download the ones you want.
  11. Go to remove.bg/upload and click the upload button. This should open your files. Double click the one you want to remove the background of.
  12. Upload the gims to canva
  13. Repeat step 9-12 but with weapons!
  14. Make it look like the gims are holding the weapons
  15. Add some text for your name!
Finished Product

Hope this helped at least a little bit!

Nice guide! Maybe link this guide to get gims/weapons from!

duplicate guide

Constructive critism on the thumbnail:

  • Low quality background image. Don’t paste in the preview image on Google, it’s the reason it’s low quality.
  • The title does not stand out. The combination of the fonts in the title doesn’t fit. (Retro type font & Handwriting font? What?)
  • Lack of detail. It looks really bland with just two gims holding a gadget.
  • Why pre-design gim and post-design gim in the same thumbnail?
  • Lack of shading. I get that you tried to add a shadow under Ozi, but that isn’t enough.

Rating: 3/10.

Hey!
I made this to show how to make thumbnails. I use a different software then they do

Hey!
Thanks for the helpful tips!

  1. You do not have to use the same images I do. =)
  2. This is just how I made it, again, you can change this to your liking. I like the way they look together. I recommend making how you want it to look.
  3. This was just a quick & simple guide, so it’s not going to look super great.
  4. I honestly have no idea what that means, I just searched up images of them.
  5. Again, this is just a simple guide. I do not have a lot of time to go step by step on how to add perfect shading/design.

Thank you for your feedback! =D
