Hmm I’m not that experienced so I dunno if this will work, but have multiple overlays in the same spot and every time a player presses a button, the original overlay will disappear and the updated one will reappear in the same place.
(no it did not take me 4 minutes to type that, I was doing something else)

But you can try!
you can also use blocks in the overlay that trigger when Receiving on a channel that is broadcasted on when a property for kids saved changes
the blocks will make it show what kids you have left
you could also just have the overlay show what kid is next

Have you tried making a game overlay that changes when you (press the kid button or dialoge) and then it displays you found the kid?

I was assuming that when they press a button to save the kid, it increments a counter, which changes the property.
