How to make the Halo franchise...kinda *do not reply, not done*

Hello there,

This fine day we’ll be exploring the wonders of the Halo. Halo CE, released on the XBOX… yes, the original Xbox, in the ripe young age of 2001, this was the first installment and arguably, the best Halo game overall. In this v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ topic, we’ll be going over how to make the first mission, The Pillar of Autumn, in this game.
(Fun fact: did you know that the Pillar of Autumn is actually the name of the ship that the mission takes place in!) (side note, these’ll be separated by h̶a̶r̶d̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ difficulty.)

Episode I: The (silent) “Cartographer-y” part 1
Exp.1: First off, the map. You can do 3 things. I: Open the game itself, and make a scale of your own using some static object, write said scale down (eg: Hey, whaddjah know, on this ship, there’re panels on the ground, maybe by looking at said panels, I can judge a correct size of tile size, and put either 1, 2, 3, or 4 size floor tile size, that Gimkit Creative gives you by the way, an’ whaboom you have a floor generalization.) so you don’t forget it on a nearby piece of paper, and then walk in game wherever you need to go. (I put that in just for fun please do not do that.)

II: Watch walkthroughs: unlike the last, you do not have any enemies to worry about, so this is the best option to do if you do naht have the game. do the same scaling thing, yadda yadda ya, then do the layout thing, dun dun dun, then speaking of dun, you’re one halve the (1/3) way (1/4) there (1/5) I (1/6) think (1/7)?

III: ah, the perfect trilogy…achoo(halo3refrence), whew that was a bad cough, (hack, hack, cough…), whoa, thanks onomatopoeia for introducing us to the final one of the episode! Hacking! well no really, but if you actually have the game, there’s this magical thing called DEVMODE and this thing lets you show you everything… in the level. from there you can properly scale (look at the prevois ones) to have a perfect 0ne to 0ne scale replica of the game’s layout**. I recommend this if you actually have the game**

well, that’s the end of today’s episode, and i’ll meet ya tommorrow, that is if Gimkit forums doesn’t end the thingamabob in 3 hours or something, (pls don’t do that pls!) ALSO NO RESPONDING NOT FINISHED READ THE DANG TITLE

now today’s sponsor:

So once again thank you for listening and have a great yesterday!

Wait..this just sounds off topic
You are not allowed to send content not related to gkc in the forums
Oh i just realized
But what even is this about? I dont even understand what is being teached

but if its not done then why did you post it???

I don’t have enough time to publish them today because of exams, so I’m spacing it out so I have a good life/Gimkit/school/work balance.

also @dungeonmaster, its teaching you how to make the first mission of Halo: Combat Evolved on the Gimkit Creative engine. This was supposed to go over the ways you do the map layout and get a proper scaling system down to make it as similar as possible to the real deal.

AND STOP REPLYING!!!

and also, I have a whole schedule down, and this was the easiest and most necessary thing that I thought of for the community to follow. Hence the name, "Exp.1"

do not reply, please

Can you please be more specific than this? It is very hard to follow.

How does this count as instructions??

it’s referring to Exp.1, so you don’t just skip to the end

and have the answer given out to you on a silver platter

Ok…so, I think it would’ve been best if you kept this as a draft, but the guide is still pretty good!

This is off-topic it doesn’t have anything to do with GK.
