How To Make Screen Shake [1/10] [REPOST WITH IMAGES]

How to make screen shake! [1/10]
Now, enjoy the guide!

This is a short guide (Apologies) it only contains 2 steps.


Materials:

  • 9 Camera Points
  • 1 Trigger
  • 1 Lifecycle

Step 1

Place your Camera Points near the middle of the room, then, spread them out.

Each Camera Point should activate on a unique channel: “CameraShakeX” (The X represents a number between 1-9) and every Camera Point should deactivate on “DeactivateShake”


Step 2

Get out a trigger that triggers on TriggerShake, with a delay of 0.5 [2] and broadcasts on TriggerShake [3] , and is invisible and cannot be stepped on.
Create the following block code in said trigger:

Now we need a way for it to trigger; I use a lifecycle to trigger the screen shake.


FINISHED PRODUCT:


Now that the game starts, you should have a screen shake in your room!

Your instructions have the settings like this:

Should one of the channels be different?

did you make the lifecycle also transmit on TriggerShake?

I used a popup, and made that transmit on TriggerShake

i think that there should be an way to turn off the screen shake at moments; since it can cause motion sickness for some [1]
maybe a button near the beginning of the map (or a call to action) that just disables all the triggers with a channel?

that should work, just deactivate the trigger than immediately re-turn it on, so you can trigger it again
