How To make RGB/Color-Changing text (NEW, fixed version using blocks)

Backstory

I made a guide a while back that worked for me, but didn’t work for others, so I am remaking the guide

Welcome to my guide on how to make color-changing text (That ACTUALLY WORKS) This will make the text flash different colors over time, I chose red, green, and blue.

THE GUIDE!

You will need:
2 Wire Repeaters
1 Lifecycle
1 Relay
1 Property

(I am aware that there might be simpler ways to do it without properties, I am mostly focused on making it work, not simplification)

First, configure the property settings to these:

Property name: text
Property type: Number
Default value: 0

now, wire the lifecycle → relay like this:

Now, take the relay and wire it to the first wire repeater

now, take 2 wire repeaters and wire them together

Set the delay of the repeater connected to the relay (In screenshot is the one on the right) to 1.5

Now, wire the left one to the text device and set the wire to run wire pulse block

Now, create a new Wire Pulse Block like this

select On Wire pulse…

Now, copy this block code:

(the covered-up part is = 1

cause I’m too lazy to go back for another screenshot)

You can change the colors to whatever you want, or add more(I will let you figure that out)
EZ DONE IM OUT NOW I NEED A NAP

Nice guide. Not really sure I’ll use this but still a good guide.

Good guide, but its kinda predictable about which block is used.
I have experience in coding.

Couldn’t you just of edited it to fix it?

I couldn’t. The guide was old.

we got a community mod now. Blackhole927 can make your guide into a wiki if you wanted.
