How to make a waypoint system that deactivates when you exit the area, and reactivates when you enter. (Difficulty: 2/10 🟩)

I thought of this system a while back, I thought it would be fun to do! It does this: If you enter an area, a waypoint apears. If you leave, the waypoint disapears, it only activates if you have a quest active (or anything else).

⭐Step one⭐

Place a waypoint, and a 2 teleporters. Make the waypoint not active on game start.

Place a checker that checks for an item you don’t use in game.

Do this wiring:

More wires:

Important note: you just wired the second teleporter, the one that hasn’t been wired yet.

🧶Final step 🧶

Place a button, make it do this:

(Make the item granter grant the item the checker checks for.

🔌Optional step! 🔌

Make a button that takes away the item, so that the waypoint doesn’t apear anymore

🧳Uses 🧳
  1. Quests
  2. Giving the player a banana and then taking it away, with an extra part
  3. I don’t know, maybe an objective? (related to quests)
🎈One way to make it better 🎈

Place an IIM, set it to this:

Just so that players aren’t confused why they got a banana.

If you followed the guide right, you have a working mechanic! (not the job mechanic, a game mechanic.)

Love this! Simple guide, and great for some maps! Needs a difficulty, and you can use channels instead of wires for a cleaner look, but amazing. Liked (all out of like lol).
