without the season ticket

and I need step by step

Use the pop-up device.

Have that main text say the name of the gim and the smaller text is for what they are saying.

For example:

I can help!

What you need a button and a Popup device

What you want to do is place a button down where the sentry is, then have a popup, you can edit the popup to to have description and conversations.

What is do is

Place the sentry and button down, popup next to or near the button then use a wire to connect it, then edit that wire to put, on triggered then show popup.

You can make a call to action button do things like having another popup pop up and do such things with channels

If you have questions please just reply and ask me.

Welcome to the forums, @jkjkjkjkjk ! I hope you enjoy your time here.

To make sentrys talk without the season ticket is pretty easy.

Grab these items listed:

  • Button
  • Popup
  • Sentry

You have those? Okay, good.

First, lets adjust the button. Go to “Button Message” and rename it from “Interact” to “Talk to Sentry?”

Now, let’s adjust the Popup. Go to the first text option and put the Sentrys name, then go to the second text option and put what you want the sentry to say.

Lastly, adjust the Sentry by changing its team to “Team 1”. This is so it doesn’t fire at the player while they are talking.

Now, wire the button to the Popup

Button pressed —> open Popup

There you go! Make sure the button isnt seen in game, and that it is next to the sentry thats “talking”.

That’s it! @ping me if you need more help. Here is a guide I found on this topic:
