How to make a player slowly take damage

(I will try to explain as simple as I can)

Items needed:
Trigger
Laser/Zone (I will use Laser)
Damager/Health Granter (I will use Damager)

  1. Trigger: Make a delay so you don’t lose instantly! Mine is 1.5 seconds.

  2. Trigger: Change it so it is not activated by stepping on it.

  3. Trigger: Have the Active Scope for player and not global.


    4.Copy the trigger.

  4. Laser: Change the laser to be however you’d like! (Invisible needs the color black)

  5. Laser: Change the laser damage to 0 and make it de-activate itself when a player touches it!

  6. Damager/Health Granter: Change the Damage/Health to whatever you would like (mine is 10)

  7. Wires: Wire the Trigger → Damager/Heath Granter with Triggered → Damage Player

  8. Wires: Wire Laser → Trigger so Player hit by laser → Trigger

  9. Wires: 1st Trigger → 2nd Trigger Make it Triggered → Trigger

  10. Wires: 2nd Trigger → 1st Trigger Make it Triggered → Trigger

  11. Wires: Wire the 2nd Trigger → Damager/Heath Granter with Triggered → Damage Player

If you find any problems just comment about it and I will fix it if I can. This took me 3 hours. There are bound to be mistakes.

Nice job!
Some things that could be better is

  1. Crop the pictures so they show what’s needed (ex. The settings only show the settings and not the rest of the screen)

  2. Use drop-downs for the steps! It helps keep your guide not as lengthy, but it’s your choice at the end of the day

Nice guide.
Maybe you could add some variations?
Or add how to stop it?
Or only make it take damage in a specific zone?
