How to make a life system

step 1) place starting invitory, lifecycle, vending machine, end game

Step 2) set starting invitory with (Item to grant: any item you want)(granted item amount: number of lives wanted subtracted by 1, example: 3 lives = 2 red seeds)

Step 3) set Lifecycle with (Event: Player Knocked out)

Step 4) set vending machine with (purchase action: grant item) (required item: item for lives) (granted item: nothing)

Step 5) connect Lifecycle and vending machine with wires (Event occurs → attempt to purchased)

Step 6) connect vending machine and end game with wires (attempt to purchase fails → End the game)
Extra step 1) for multi player, replace end game with team switch
Extra step 2) set team switch with (switch strategy: specific team) (Team: spectators)

bump awesome guide dude
<- this is Jim Attempt number 1

I know this was from 10 days ago, but I’m pretty sure it’s fine that @Ian_is_a_yay made a guide on something that already has a guide. Sometimes people can come up with different strategies, or explain better, or find something more memory efficient for a certain subject.

Also, you don’t really need to credit a guide that you didn’t take inspiration from. If a guide inspired you or helped you out, you should credit that guide, but Ian thought of this themselves. Since they likely didn’t take inspiration or quoted my guide, they have no need to credit it.

Nice guide Ian!
