so basically sans’ dialogue sound? if yes, then cool guide ![]()
nice guide
you could also show the trigger in-game and when the player steps on it the trigger is triggered
Yea, I just decided that was pretty optional.
Ty though, I will add that in the guide! :>
reminder that if you like, trigger the trigger again it will start another loop so if you start enough loops its gonna be really loud
OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh
well there goes like 20% of my progress of my map I never knew that : P
Ty for telling me that I will also mentions that!!
Interesting. I’m gonna try this out an hear it for myself. Are you able to do note values, like one beep for a half of a beat (16th) and another for maybe 2 beats?
whur.
(sorry my brain is dum dum me not that good at gimkit creative)
please elaborate
It’s more so musical knowledge, if that makes more sense, I suppose.
I probably should’ve been more open-minded about that, so that’s on me lol.
Ok, so I’m asking if you can make the beeps faster or slower. So instead of, let’s say:
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. (Quarter Notes)
Could you create rhythms/patterns by changing speed in between beeps?
Be- Beep. Be- Beep. Beep. Be- Beep. (8th, 8th, Quarter, 8th)
Ohhhh, so like irl music?
I THINK the only way is to make the trigger have a maximum amount of triggers at activation, and then make something else like a counter that target value’s matches the maximum amount of triggers, wire the trigger so when triggered, it increments the counter, and when target value reached wire it to another trigger with a slower delay
I may be wrong (?) and I’m sorry if I am : <

so, we can go back to your original idea, and when button pressed/zone entered/purchased item just disable button/zone/vending machine
We’re all wrong sometimes, so don’t worry if it is. I’ll test it out.
Oh yeah, I think we were talking abt the trigger COLLISION, not the activation part.
(also I don’t rlly think there’s a way to disable the trigger COLLISION/itself after its already triggered since it’s a loop so…)
the only thing preventing us from music in GKC is we cant pitch sfx
Yeah, I tried making button activation one of those sfxs, but there’s no option to “attempt to press” in wiring.
I think sentries might be possible, although I think the fire rate is different everytime even if you set them to the same fire rate levels
I can’t think of any other ways to make voices like these
oh yeeaa, i remember helping in a post explaining this, cool concept to use it!
noice guide yaypie!
I just gotta rate this cuz I’m bored.
Formatting/Organization: 9/10
You did a good job laying out the materials needed and the steps to make this. But, maybe label each step. Step 1: Creating the Trigger (or something like that), Step 2: blah blah blah.
The formatting is good as it is but, maybe organize it a bit better, you know what I mean?
Descriptions/Details: 10/10
Nice descriptions and pictures for visual learners, you made it very clear of what to do to make this!
Beginning, Middle, End: 7/10
I love the intro lolz. The middle is just explaining, that’s good. I don’t see any ending? Add a conclusion to, you know, wrap it up!
Humor/Interesting: 10/10
When I talk about humor, this is what I’m talking about.
=D
Creativity: 10/10
Even though you said:
I never saw a guide on this, very cool concept! I’ll definitely use this in one of my maps.
Overall:
46/50
very good job!
A 'lil more constructive criticism:
You should put that at the end, the readers don’t really even know what your talking about.
It’s probably just me but when I see big paragraphs like:
I, literally, ran away.
But, I guess there isn’t anything you can do about that.
Anyways, keep making good guides like this one my fellow kitkat friendo!

(for you yaypie =D)
Ooooooo I must try this for my map! Thanks for this guide! <3
:D
Hey, cool little thing I did in GKC with this guide (it was really simple to make):
I made a “metronome” (It’s in BETA, I’m still tinkering with it…) that goes 67 (haha) BPM. Sometimes it bugs out because of the vending machine’s sound occasionally overlapping.
I’m currently (like- at this exact moment) Making a way to speed it up and slow it down (which you really just need triggers for), and experimenting with rhythms.
Thanks! Pretty neat guide, btw, it came in clutch with this little interest project of mine, haha
lol
