How to make a door open & close with ONE button!

Okay, so you know how annoying it is to have a door that closes and opens but needs TWO buttons?
I know how that feels, so here is a tutorial by a Fnaf map developer (me)!
Here’s what you need: A button, something to use as a door (I used a PROP barrier in this situation),
and a counter (secret ingredient!). Here is a picture to help you:

Counter: Use the target value and set it to 2
Then, wire them like so:

Last (To tie everything up)

And that is everything! Simple, right?
Hopefully, you found this helpful, and ask me anything if something is not working.

Very simple, but effective. Great first guide!
I would remove the fnaf tag as you could use this for almost anything.

Thank you so much! Hope you found this useful!

I changed the title to be more simple if you don’t mind.

I honestly liked the specification that it’s with only ONE button, but if it’s fine with @DuhDinoKing2099 then it’s fine with me :person_shrugging:

It’s alright! Just make sure not to change TOO much, or the title won’t be the same if you understand.

Well, this is for the people who just started Gimkit Creative or people who just aren’t good at some things like these.

Would a trigger be more efficient?

Great detail for just a simple/small guide! Maybe move this to gimkit-beginners?

Going to step in here to remind you all that these last few posts are off topic, and also, you cannot really necropost on a guide.

You can be off topic, but sebarex was just asking a question related to the guide.

@SlimExtraterrestrial can you edit the old one to this version, then close this post and merge it with the original topic? That might work better.

@DuhDinoKing2099 I closed your other topic and make this one a wiki. You should be able to edit the photos in. Link to other guide in case you need it:

Could you close this topic and make the other one a wiki please? Thanks!

Oh, whoops, I may have read Turtle’s post wrong, sorry!
