Question: Would a game overlay be ok? If not carry on
Make the counter listen for a property, in the property section of the counter. Click property, then yes linked to counter or whatever it is
Make it so its the name of the item you want
then make a property, put it on player scope, and make it a number type. The name of your item that you put in for the counter should be there.
Last, place down an inventory item manager and make it link to a property. Make that property the same property you just made.
Hopefully this helps!
quick summary: edit the counter for it to link to a property, make a property that’s a number type and player scope, and make it the same name as the one you put on the counter. Last make an inventory item manager and make it the item you want and then make the item linked to the property you just made
I thought this was a Community Made Guides topic but never mind but unfortunately I’m a map tester and not a game creator but welcome to the forums @beau
thank you soooooooo much! imma test it out!
please mark a solution. I think txme_lxss just answered your question.
Can I ask why not use an Inventory Item Manager?
That sets the property to the counter, not vice versa.
Their solution doesn’t work.
oh. I think it requires blocks tho
Again, can’t an IIM work? If I recall correctly the IIM can track the amount of an item a player has correct?
or text
replace them counters with text
but that would be difficult for all 3, cause might be different functions
but the one that counts certain item can be text or a game overlay showing your certain item
why not a game overlay
yeah game overlays would work.
I found a solution!!
You can tap the solution button to mark a solution. Also you don’t want to show your full name to the public.
