How to create an item upgrader (2/10 or 🟦)

Intro :grin::

Have you ever wanted to create a system that upgrades your items in a PVP map? Well this tutorial has got you covered! Also, this item upgrader doesn’t give out starting items, so that has to be done separately.

The basic setup

Step 1: Place down a button, and adjust it to these settings.

Step 2: Place down a checker, and adjust it to these settings:

Step 3: Add an item granter, and adjust it so that it removes the item that is 1 tier lower than the upgraded item.

*Make sure that you are removing the item that is one tier lower than the item that will be purchased

Step 4: Add a wire repeater, and adjust the delay to 0.1 settings.
(This step may sound weird, but trust me, it helps out in the end)

Step 5: Add a vending machine, and adjust it to these settings

(Feel free to edit the cost and currency needed to upgrade the item, but make sure that the item in the vending machine is your first tier item (or slightly better than the starter item)

(make sure to adjust the settings to this exact way, otherwise some bugs might happen.

Step 6: Place down an item granter, and adjust it to these settings:

*Make sure that you are granting the item that is one tier lower than the item that will be purchased

Step 7 (the wiring)

Adding additional upgrades (optional)

Step 1: add a checker, and adjust the settings to this:

(Make sure that this checker is checking for the item granted in the previous tier)

Step 2: Wire the previous and current checker like this:

Step 3: repeat steps 3-7 from The Basic Setup

Ending the upgrade chain

Step 1: go to the last checker, or the one that is for the highest upgrade, and edit the settings to look like this

*This is important because we need the button to reactivate after nothing happens.

Nice job with the tutorial!
I’d say maybe add a conclusion.
I removed ideas since that’s not really for guides and I also removed gimkit-beginners because that’s more for easy Gimkit concepts and important… beginner, er, things.

(I updated the difficulty to be the average of all the votes on the poll)
