I think your getting confused with necroposting.
Bumping = giving a good guide attention and bumping it to the top so more people see it
Necroposting = giving a help topic that’s already solved or resolved attention- a good amount of the time they don’t have solutions.

Necroposting @Allwen can also be a bugs topic or a devices topic.
