How should I recategorize?

Uhhh- We’ve done a lot. I got 60 some notifications of posts moved to help.

So I did about 20-30 so that means the total is about 100 so far.

The ones that I did, I just moved all to Help, but I think corresponding category would work best. Topics that don’t have an appropriate category (Uncategorized) can go in Help.

I moved like 15. I’ll do more in a bit. As for where to move it, move the post where it fits best. Help is best for most things. Also try to remove any tags on the posts, as people don’t need to find off topic stuff on accident

We could just leave those topics in Devices, just because it’s no longer a trash can doesn’t mean we can’t have any disallowed posts in there.

I personally think that everything that doesn’t relate to Devices should be moved elsewhere. Help is a better place for off topic posts and flagged guide because it’s harder to find them in the 20,000+ help topics, and most people don’t search back for old help posts.

Well, one… this hasn’t been replied to in a few days. Two, closing it because a few measly posts are not like the topic shouldn’t be too bad unlike the updates.
Instead of telling them they are off topic, drift the convo more towards the topic, not being like:

Guys get back on topic.

one message being off topic and then stating that message to be off topic, that’s 2 off topic posts

basically, when you point out a post being off topic, your being off topic yourself. don’t tell people what they are doing is off topic, just flag it. only tell them if they are decently new.
