Today in this guide I will be showing you how I effectively use Gimkit Creative on a mobile device.
(This has been in my drafts since September) This guide is a wiki for infinite editing time. Please do not edit.
This guide is designed to show mobile players some more tips they might not use already.
Let’s get started! Gimkit Creative is not designed to be used on mobile, but it’s still usable if we do some things differently
How I place down multiple props (or devices)
The downside to this is you have to keep pressing the “add” button.
But how I do this is I type in the name of the prop I need multiple of, then I select the text and copy it.
(The way to copy text will vary between devices)
So now when I’m placing down all my wooden fences I can just press the paste button located on the on-screen keyboard, and then I do not have to type out the name of the prop.
I use channels, not wires
Wires are very hard to use on mobile.
Channels do the same thing, don’t take up memory, and are much easier to organize in your maps
yeah it’s too annoying to keep adding barriers and making them the correct size and hex on mobile. PLUS WHEN YOU TURN OFF GRAVITY YOU CAN ONLY DO SIDE TO SIDE!!! YOU CANT GO UP OR DOWN!!! AAAAARG
i will just say it, YES I AM A HUGE SWIFTIE!!! I know it’s confusing, but i used a drawing/green screen technique for my, um, account photo (my brain stopped braining i forgot what it’s ca… PROFILE PICTURE!!! THATS IT!!!) (btw i know i’m getting very off topic plz don’t flag me anyone )
@twofoursixeight once made a topic about a web browser that is way better that all the other ones for mobile. I can’t seem to find it though. I going to ask him, then can I add it?
Ehh, for iOS, safari is best. All other browsers are basically just a wrapped version of the default WebKit. There’s not much you can get from switching.
