How do you make the character "sleep"

I’m a really proficient map creator, but to make a character to “sleep” for a break out of jail map seems pretty cool, how do you do so?

use a bed then when they interact make a black screen pop up

Ok, but how do you make that as soon as they spawn

layer a big barreir over the player (and their view) when they spawn in and make it so that its 1.0 visablity(mkae it black) or if they want to sleep just make them teleport to one (make sure they cant escape and put black barrier on the ends to keep them from escaping
